Nifty offers various search functionalities to help you find exactly what you're looking for.

Spotlight Search Across Projects

The Spotlight search tool is a powerful, segmented search that looks for content across your workspace.

1. Click into the search bar at the top of Nifty to begin. You can alternatively open the search bar using the keyboard shortcuts:

  • CTRL+K on Windows

  • CMD+K on Mac

2. Once the search is opened, insert the phrase of the entity that you're looking for.

3. Nifty segments the search by entity to increase loading performance for workspaces with high volumes of data. You can select the exact entity you're looking for above the search results.

4. Click on the item you'e searching for to automatically navigate to it.

Sidebar Search for Projects

While the top search helps you find content across projects, the sidebar search helps you locate the project itself within your workspace.

1. Locate the Go to project... search in your sidebar above your portfolios and projects.

2. Search the name of the project you're looking for. Projects that fall within the scope of your search will reveal themselves within their respective portfolios. Click on the project you'd like to navigate to.

Project-level Task Search

The search bar found in the Tasks filter options will quickly surface tasks and subtasks within that project.

Note that:

  • The scope of what is included on the Tasks search is determined by what is enabled in the Show indicator next to the filter bar.

  • In order to search for subtasks, their parent task must be expanded to show up within the search.
