Create a dynamic 2-way integration between GitLab and a Nifty Task board to automatically track commits, merges, and pull request – all within task activity feeds.

Establishing Your GitLab Integration

To integrate GitLab, start by accessing a project's Control Center via the project dropdown menu.

Next, you'll find GitLab at in the bottom section of the sidebar under Integrations. Click on any GitLab automation action to authorize access to your GitLab account.

Once you've authorized access to your GitLab account, you can indicate which repository a project's taskboard should connect to, as well as decide if you'd like create a two way sync of Labels and Comments between Nifty Tasks and GitLab.

Using Task Activity to Track Commits, Merges, and Pull Requests

Once your project is connected a GitHub repository, activities in that repository require the task ID to be mentioned in order for them to be shown in your Task's Activity Log.

Note: Task ID's must include the # sign, eg. #B-207
